THE JOURNEY
A dedicated 1:1 partnership for translating insight into lived change.
This is a six-week collaborative field study of the life you're living, the one that's emerging, and the conditions that might help you meet it.

You find yourself at a threshold. Something in your life has shifted, and you're facing the space between where you are now and what comes next.
Maybe you have returned from a trip where something felt awakened within you. Or perhaps you have left a job, finished school, moved somewhere new, watched your kids leave home, begun or ended a relationship, retired, or simply realized that the life you built no longer quite fits.
The Journey is an opportunity to get curious about that space.

Together, we'll translate what you're noticing—your experiences, desires, questions, and observations—into ways of actually living differently.
WHAT IS 'THE JOURNEY'?
The Journey is for thoughtful, self-aware people at a threshold: people who have begun to consider how they want their life to feel and want help translating that understanding into how they actually live.

Together, we'll look at your attention, rhythms, relationships, interests, desires, stories, and environments to understand the conditions under which you feel most like yourself. From there, we'll experiment with ways of bringing those observations into the structure of everyday life.
this is for you if you're...
AT A THRESHOLD
Something has shifted, and you're not entirely sure what comes next.
IN TRANSITION
Career, graduation, retirement, relationships, relocation, empty nest—or something harder to name.
SELF-AWARE BUT STUCK
You understand yourself well, but insight isn't becoming change.
CRAVING ALIVENESS
More leisure, creativity, connection, curiosity, agency, meaning, or self-trust.
RETURNING FROM SOMETHING
An expansive experience changed you, and you want to bring something of it home.
READY TO PARTICIPATE
You want a life that feels more distinctly yours—and you're willing to experiment with how you live it.
You don't need to have everything figured out. But you should be curious, open to experimentation, and willing to participate in what you discover.
This process centers curiosity over rigidity
Drawing from my background in facilitation, art, and design, I approach our work as a creative process: observe what's already there, understand what helps you flourish, and begin designing conditions for more of it to emerge.
What a journey actually feels like
Our conversations are only part of the Journey.
Between sessions, I may invite you into small pieces of self-guided fieldwork designed around what we're exploring together.

You might spend an hour following your curiosity through a library. Drinking your morning coffee without doing anything else. Trying something out of your comfort zone with a different approach.

These little side quests aren't "tests" but invitations with the goal to return to our sessions with information. This information becomes the medium we create with and iterate from.
what we might explore together:
DIRECTION

What keeps holding your attention, and what might it be pointing toward?
CREATIVITY

What wants to come alive? Aand what conditions help you make it?
TRANSITION

How do you inhabit the unknown without immediately filling it?
LEISURE

What if enjoyment didn't have to be earned but became a field for development?
ALIVENESS

What conditions make you feel vividly engaged with your life?
RELATIONSHIPS

What qualities do you want to cultivate in relationship with other people?
RHYTHMS

What nourishes you, what depletes you, and what deserves more space?
MEANING & PURPOSE

What feels worth tending, contributing to, and remaining in relationship with?
About CARLY
I'm a facilitator, artist, writer, and designer interested in how attention shapes the lives we create. My work sits at the intersection of creative practice, experience design, reflection, and the everyday structures through which we become ourselves.

I don't approach this work as someone who has the answers to your life. I bring questions, pattern recognition, creative experimentation, and an ability to help give shape to what you're already beginning to notice.

TESTIMONIALS
"WHAT WE DID TOGETHER IN SIX WEEKS WOULD HAVE TAKEN ME YEARS TO DO BY MYSELF. CARLY WON'T TELL YOU WHAT TO DO. INSTEAD, SHE LISTENS, ASKS INSIGHTFUL QUESTIONS, AND SYNTHESIZES IN A WAY THAT CREATES SUCH CLARITY THAT I FOUND MYSELF TAKING THE NEXT STEP WITH EASE. "
